Tell us about your favourite family back-to-nature trips – you could win a holiday voucher

As summer approaches and schools prepare for their lengthy break, families are filled with excitement for the upcoming holidays. This time often brings a mix of joy for children and anxiety for parents as they strategize ways to keep their kids entertained throughout the summer months. The Guardian is inviting families to share their favorite outdoor experiences, whether these involve organized activities such as surfing lessons or adventure camps, or more spontaneous outings like exploring coastal rock pools or following nature trails offered by Forestry England. This initiative aims to gather diverse and engaging family experiences that highlight the joys of outdoor activities during the summer season.

In addition to sharing experiences, participants have the chance to win a £200 holiday voucher to stay at a Coolstays property, with over 3,000 locations available worldwide. The best tip, selected by Tom Hall from Lonely Planet, will not only win the voucher but will also be featured in the Guardian Travel section. Contributors are encouraged to keep their submissions concise, ideally around 100 words, and can include relevant photographs to enhance their entries. However, it is important to note that only UK residents are eligible to participate, and the competition will close on Monday, July 7, at 10 AM BST. Interested participants can submit their tips through a designated form, adhering to specified guidelines regarding file size and content.
