Monaco target André Onana but goalkeeper is keen to stay at Manchester United

Monaco has identified André Onana as a potential target for their summer transfer plans, indicating their interest in bolstering their squad with the 29-year-old goalkeeper. Despite this interest from the Ligue 1 club, Onana has expressed his desire to remain at Manchester United and prove himself under head coach Ruben Amorim in the upcoming season. Since his transfer from Inter Milan in July 2023, Onana's performances have been inconsistent, leading to scrutiny regarding his place in the team. Notably, he faced criticism after making significant errors that contributed to defeats, including being dropped for a match against Newcastle United after a disappointing display against Lyon in the Europa League.
